Deck and Conn is a retro-inspired, single-player turn-based tactics game where you command a Cold War-style nuclear corvette — in space. Set fifteen minutes into the future of 1989, the game blends pixel-art aesthetics with tactical depth, drawing from classics like early MicroProse titles and the original Super Star Trek mainframe game.

Next update on the 1.2 branch is live. This may be the last 1.2.x update unless any critical bugs are reported, I'm now working on the 1.3 "Crew" update for the remainder of the week. As always, I'll post progress updates on the Dev Updates pinned thread on the discussion forums. VERSION 1.2.5 Changes: * Added option (on by default) to center on any ships firing weapons during end of turn animations * Expanded OPAREA C3 to increase events in that area Fixes: * Added some missing reports when enemy vessels fire torpedoes * When going to a single mission from a dynamic patrol, dynamic patrol glyphs on the map are now cleared * Repair messages on the status ticker clear during the correct turn instead of lagging * Fixed airlock computer not updating on first loading a suspended patrol * Off-screen arrows correctly appear/update dynamically after each movement during end of turn animations

Deck & Conn v1.0.1 is now up! This build contains some fixes for bugs reported since launch. A full change list can be found when you first start the game. Thanks to those who helped out by sending in bug reports!A quick roadmap for the next week - more small updates will come in the next few days fixing and tweaking things players have reported.Over the next week, we will then work towards version 1.1, which will focus on adding the ability to save the state of your patrol during dynamic campaigns, to let you quit and resume later.Another quick note - we’ve exposed an open_testing branch, so if you want bleeding edge builds, feel free to subscribe to that beta channel. Just be aware that it will be builds we’re currently testing, and they could well have issues.
