Zero is a real reading
A zero player count is shown only when Steam returns one. A missing, unavailable or failed response is never converted into zero.
Incomplete is visible
Game pages show their available sample count. New releases and titles with a temporary Steam response gap will have less complete short-term charts.
Collection timing
Collection is scheduled around every ten minutes. A missing window means SteamWatch has no completed run recorded for that interval; a partial run is reported separately.
Collector monitoring
The collector monitor raises an internal alert after three consecutive runs with critically low player coverage.
6,588 daily player records are currently retained. This page reports system-wide health; individual chart labels remain the source of truth for a specific game.
