About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

MemeticBox is a physics-driven voxel gore sandbox. Every character is built from thousands of voxels with skin, muscle, bone and organs underneath. Every shot, blade and explosion tears through them layer by layer. Play it as a tactical shooter, survive endless waves, or become a god and do whatever you want with them.

▎EVERY BODY IS MADE OF VOXELS

Bullets carve real holes. Blades slice limbs clean off. Explosions rip bodies apart block by block. Under the skin there is muscle, bone, brain, lungs and heart, and everything you hit bleeds, breaks and falls where it should.

- Headshots crack skulls open. Shotguns take heads clean off.

- Wounded enemies stagger, crawl, clutch their wounds and writhe in agony.

- Zombies without legs keep dragging themselves toward you.

- Blood pools, runs across the floor, stains walls, tints water and even splatters your screen.

▎GOD MODE

- Grab people and hurl them into walls. Stretch them until their arms rip off.

- Hang them, nail them to walls, strike them with lightning and watch them convulse.

- Build death traps: spike beds, spinning saws, grinders, mines.

- Rain people from the sky. Start a war between Police and terrorists. Drive a whole crowd into a murderous rage.

- Unleash tornadoes, earthquakes, meteor showers, blood rain and black holes that suck everyone into one screaming ball of flesh.

- Film it all with a cinematic camera.

▎MODES

- Police Raid, Bank Heist, Drug Lab: pick your loadout, give orders to your AI squad, breach doors, throw flashbangs, rescue hostages and arrest or eliminate the enemy.

- Wave Survival: hold out in a dark CQB building or an abandoned hospital against zombies, soldiers, attack dogs and bosses. Buy upgrades and build barricades between waves.

- Gore Arena: fight in a colosseum while a roaring crowd cheers every kill and throws weapons into the sand.

- City: collapsing buildings, drivable cars, bikes and tanks, gas stations that explode and a police force that comes for you as your wanted level rises.

- Night in the Forest, Evacuation, Demolition and more.

▎ENEMIES

- Every NPC has a voice. They scream, beg, surrender, call for backup and take cover.

- Soldiers flank you and throw grenades. Terrorists, gang members and junkies each fight differently.

- Special zombies: runners, screamers that call the horde, acid spitters and bloaters that burst on death.

- Armored juggernauts, riot shields, attack dogs, wolves and an enemy gunship.

▎WEAPONS

- Pistols, shotguns, rifles, a minigun, sniper rifles with bullet cam, a railgun, crossbows and rocket launchers.

- Flamethrowers and molotovs that set voxels and people on fire.

- Katanas, chainsaws, spiked bats, demolition hammers, throwing knives and a harpoon that pins people to walls.

- Attachments: suppressors, red dots, scopes and lasers.

- Reloads where the magazine drops to the floor with physics, plus tactical reloads and weapon inspection.

- Aim down sights, slide, lean around corners, Max Payne-style dives in slow motion and kick doors down.

▎DESTRUCTION

- Buildings collapse block by block with structural analysis. The rubble crushes whoever is underneath.

- Cars dent piece by piece, catch fire and explode.

- Glass shatters, doors break off their hinges and walls crumble under explosions.

▎WORLD

- Dynamic day/night cycle, rain, snow, fog and thunderstorms. Rain puts out fires.

- Lakes you can swim and dive in, and bodies that float.

- Dynamic music that follows the action.

▎AND MORE

- Photo mode with free camera, frozen time and filters.

- 28 challenges, lifetime stats, kill streaks, a style meter and weapon skins.

- Game modifiers and catastrophe mutators.

- A built-in voxel editor to create your own props.
