About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

The Vector is a deep unfolding idle/incremental game that begins with a single pixel and a voice asking for your help.

The architect has grand blueprints to construct an entire cosmos, but suffers from one fatal cosmic inconvenience: it has no physical hands or direct agency in this realm. It can calculate trajectories and design cosmic structures, but it needs someone with a cursor to apply manual force.

As you gather resources and progress, the universe expands geometrically from the central Origin into rotating satellites, automated manufacturing, and deep-space reconnaissance. Along the way, Entropy Glitches invade from outer coordinates, threatening to stall reality unless held at bay with automated defenses.

Minimalist Emergence: Start with zero UI. Every upgrade, mechanic, and defense node is discovered and rendered into existence and unfolding complexity.

The Sarcastic Cosmic Architect: A dynamic, responsive narrator who acts as the supreme project lead and aesthetic visionary. It provides running commentary, backhanded compliments, architectural critiques, and lore.

Tactical Defense vs. Exponential Economy: Balance spending between accelerating resource production and establishing automated perimeter defenses. Build drones and place towers to fend off the invading Glitches from causing system stalls.

Suited for short or long term play sessions, improvements and efficiency are always growing. And when you're done with the universe, build the Celestial Lattice to open a new realm and apply tweaks to change how the next one plays.

Bond with a companion, train your fleet, fight bosses, send probes, and get rated on your performance.

Unlock cosmetics to dress up your pet, alter the game visuals, and apply silly tweaks. All while pursuing the endless goal of bigger numbers.
