About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Worker Survival Simulator  is a pixel-art workplace life simulation game. You play as a 22-year-old young adult stepping into society for the first time, starting from a cramped rented room and embarking on a ten-year working life in a bustling city.

Wake up to your alarm and plan your day. Squeeze onto the morning subway and study during your commute. Clock in at the office, attend morning meetings, complete KPIs, and submit weekly reports. Six interconnected stats—Energy, Mood, Stress, Health, Fullness, and Cash Flow—constantly affect each other. Let any one of them spiral out of control, and your life may take an entirely different direction.

This isn't just about watching numbers go up and down. You'll deal with KPI evaluations, weekly reports, skill trees, promotions, job-hopping negotiations, taking leave, and working overtime. Keep an eye out for your boss, Mr. Wang, while sneaking in a little slacking off, and navigate coworker relationships and office politics. Every decision at work can affect your income, mental state, and long-term career path.

Once you leave the office, the city is yours. Convenience stores, bars, shopping malls, libraries, gyms, night markets, parks, mountaintops, riversides, internet cafés, your own home, and more. Explore more than 12 different locations freely, with interconnected areas and unique ambient sounds that bring each place to life.

Forget endless menus and button clicking. Every interaction takes place in a freely explorable pixel-art world. Play board games, darts, pool, chess, basketball arcade games, multiplayer matches, watch the stock market, join a square-dance routine, and more. With more than a dozen mini-games to discover, there's always something to do. An optional Easy Mode can automatically resolve mini-games with a good result, so even players who aren't great at fast-paced controls can enjoy the experience.

Lin Xiaoman, Chen Yu, Jiang Yue, and other romanceable characters can only be unlocked after you've actually met them in the world. Build relationships step by step, from first meeting and mutual attraction to dating, marriage, and having children. Every relationship takes time, choices, and genuine effort to maintain.

Every choice you make in the world contributes to four story paths: Career, Life, Relationships, and Adventure . Ten years later, will you become a successful career professional, a master of the good life, an adventurer willing to bet everything, or simply an ordinary person carried along by life? Your ten-year journey will determine your unique ending.

Core Features

Authentic Workweek Cycle: Plan your morning → commute to work → spend your evenings → experience weekend events. Live through the full rhythm of a working person's week.

Location-Based Exploration: Forget popup menus. All interactions happen directly in freely explorable pixel-art environments, with point-and-click movement and automatic pathfinding.

Deep Career System: Handle KPI evaluations, weekly reports, skill trees, promotions, job changes, paid leave, overtime, coworker relationships, and office politics.

Multi-Path Relationship System: Meet characters in the world to unlock them, then gradually develop relationships through different stages—from getting acquainted and flirting to dating, marriage, and having children.

Major Life Events: Buy a home, buy a car, face layoffs, change careers, search for jobs, and get back on your feet. Experience both the highs and lows of working life.

Side Hustles & Investments: Take on freelance jobs and keep an eye on the stock market. The road to financial freedom might begin with one bold investment.

Life Story Tree: Every choice influences four different paths, leading to five distinctly different endings after ten years.

Easy Mode: Mini-games can be switched to automatic resolution, with good results applied automatically to reduce the skill barrier.
