About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

A retro-style psychological horror game about isolation, perception, and the things we choose not to see.

GAMEPLAY

Watch your environment for anything out of place. Use your notebook to report what you find. Make the right call to advance. Wrong calls have consequences.

ANOMALIES

Over 40 unique events can manifest during your stay. If you hear an anomaly, rest assured it has already seen you. The game adapts to your choices, your alertness, and your luck.

DIFFICULTY MODES

Default - The recommended experience. Timed nights, escalating tension.

Accessible - No timer, no lethal anomalies.

Nightmare - Less time to spot anomalies. Every mistake is fatal.

Extra Modes

Subtle - The hardest anomalies to detect. For the truly observant.

Infinite - Try to survive as many nights as you can in this mode. It uses every possible anomaly and gets progressively harder. A true test of sanity.

FEATURES

Nostalgic retro-style graphics

Immersive FMOD audio technology with dynamic occlusion

Adaptive difficulty

"Seed" system for reproducible playthroughs

Steam achievements

Replayable across multiple difficulty modes

Multiple endings based on your performance

ABOUT THE STORY

You arrive by car at a rented trailer on the edge of a forest. You moved here to isolate yourself. To heal. To wait until your mind settles and you can trust your senses again.

The anomalies grow worse each night, creeping closer to the edge of what you can rationalize. Through it all, the dog is always there. Always watching from somewhere. It does not judge, does not speak. It is just a dog, and somehow it is the most solid thing keeping you grounded. The truth of what is happening will only reveal itself to those who pay attention.
