About Bunker Rats
Bunker Rats is a free-to-play, online-only PvPvE extraction game set entirely inside decaying underground bunkers.
Up to 12 players prepare in a shared home bunker, organize into squads of up to four, and deploy into the same hostile complex. You can enter solo or work with a squad, but everyone is searching for limited supplies and trying to reach extraction alive.
Every item matters. Search abandoned rooms, open sealed containers, and decide how long you are willing to remain underground. The more you carry, the more you stand to lose.
Combat is close and unforgiving. There are no guns and nowhere to fight from a safe distance. Crowbars, axes, machetes, improvised weapons, and work tools become the difference between escaping with your haul and leaving it behind for someone else.
Other players are not the only threat. Toxic gas, electrical faults, extreme temperatures, and deteriorating conditions make the complex increasingly dangerous as a match continues. Bunker Rats does not currently feature AI-controlled enemies. Its PvE pressure comes from surviving the bunker itself.
Successful extractions provide resources for crafting, equipment upgrades, and long-term progression. Between matches, manage your storage, assemble a loadout, improve your protective suit, and prepare for the next deployment. If you die inside the complex, the gear and loot you were carrying remain behind and can be taken by another player.
The Early Access version currently includes one fully playable extraction complex. Additional complexes, equipment, resources, and progression are planned as development continues.
