Fix
Work is ongoing to fix an issue that, in very specific cases, prevents the level from ending after defeating the boss and delivering the cargo. Several changes have been implemented to prevent this from happening again. However, while testing continues and until the issue is confirmed to be fully resolved, a precautionary measure has been added to prevent players from losing their progress. If the boss has been defeated and the cargo delivered, but the player's ship does not automatically head toward the cargo ship to complete extraction and end the level, you can now press F1 or D-pad Up on a controller to skip this step and successfully finish the run. This option is only available once both conditions have been met: the boss has been defeated and the cargo has been delivered.

Only 3 weeks to go until the launch of EON Survivor!Over the past few days, I’ve continued working based on the feedback I’ve received, making performance improvements, fixing bugs, and polishing different aspects of the game.One of the areas I’ve been focusing on is bosses and their attacks. Their attacks have been modified and new behaviors have been added to make them more varied, less predictable, and more challenging, without significantly increasing the overall difficulty.I’ve also implemented a change suggested by players: enemy projectiles that track the player, such as seeker missiles, now have a visual indicator that makes them easier to distinguish from regular projectiles.As always, many of these improvements are possible thanks to everyone playing the game and sharing their feedback.There are still three weeks until launch, so I’ll keep working and listening to your feedb...

Experience Orb Optimization: During the most intense battles, especially in later sectors, hundreds of experience orbs could accumulate on screen. To improve performance and reduce visual clutter, nearby experience orbs will now automatically merge into larger ones. Their color changes based on the amount of experience they contain (gray, green, magenta, and red), but the total amount of experience remains exactly the same—it's simply condensed into fewer, larger orbs.New Weapons Menu: A new Weapons menu has been added to the level selection screen. Combat AdjustmentsTo reduce situations where large groups of enemies and projectiles would pile up around the player, the following changes have been made:Enemies will now try to maintain a certain distance from the player, only moving close enough to attack.Enemy projectile speed has been reduced, but their damage has been increased.These changes are intended to make combat feel more organized while giving players more room to dodge incoming fire. Upgrade System ReworkThe way upgrades appear during each run has been reworked to make progression more rewarding while giving greater value to both meta progression and player progression.By default, there is now a 20% chance for an upgrade to be higher than Common quality.Through meta progression upgrades, this chance can be increased to 50%, and even higher with upgrades acquired during a run.Whenever an upgrade is above Common, it will be Rare by default. Gavidon joins the project with incredible original music, making battles far more intense and dynamic!Added a stats panel to the in-game options screen.Boss encounters now lock the player into the combat area. The permanent upgrade system has been redesigned. Thanks to all the player feedback, development continues focused on improving the overall experience. This update adds a new end-of-run statistics screen, available whether the mission is completed successfully or not. It also includes improvements to the game logo artwork, alongside various gameplay and mechanic polish changes.
