Inspired by the adventure and imagination that we love from classic science-fiction, No Man's Sky presents you with a galaxy to explore, filled with unique planets and lifeforms, and constant danger and action.
In No Man's Sky, every star is the light of a distant sun, each orbited by planets filled with life, and you can go to any of them you choose. Fly smoothly from deep space to planetary surfaces, with no loading screens, and no limits. In this infinite procedurally generated universe, you'll discover places and creatures that no other players have seen before - and perhaps never will again.
Play with all major updates since launch: Foundation, Pathfinder, Atlas Rises, NEXT, The Abyss, Visions, the 2.0 BEYOND update, Synthesis, Living Ship, Exo Mech, Desolation and the 3.0 update, ORIGINS, Next Generation, Companions, Expeditions, Prisms, Frontiers, Sentinel, Outlaws, Endurance, WAYPOINT (4.0), Fractal, Interceptor, Echoes, Omega, Orbital, WORLDS PART I (5.0), Worlds Part II, Relics, Beacon, VOYAGERS (6.0), Remnant, Xeno Arena, The Swarm and COSMOS (7.0).
And now with added Cross-Save ! No Man’s Sky now supports Cross-Play and Cross-Save between a huge number of platforms including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox One and Series X/S, Game Pass, GOG, Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, PlayStation VR 1 & 2 and PCVR.
Available for PC and Mac (see recommended and minimum specs for details).
An epic voyage to the centre of a shared universe awaits, allowing you to explore, trade, fight and survive alone or with friends.
At the centre of the galaxy lies an irresistible pulse which draws you on a journey towards it to learn the true nature of the cosmos. But, facing hostile creatures and fierce pirates, you'll know that death comes at a cost, and survival will be down to the choices you make over how you upgrade your ship, your weapon and suit.
Your voyage through No Man's Sky is up to you. Will you be a fighter, preying on the weak and taking their riches, or taking out pirates for their bounties? Power is yours if you upgrade your ship for speed and weaponry.
Or a trader? Find rich resources on forgotten worlds and exploit them for the highest prices. Invest in more cargo space and you'll reap huge rewards.
Or perhaps an explorer? Go beyond the known frontier and discover places and things that no one has ever seen before. Upgrade your engines to jump ever farther, and strengthen your suit for survival in toxic environments that would kill the unwary.
The galaxy is a living, breathing place. Trade convoys travel between stars, factions vie for territory, pirates hunt the unwary, and the police are ever watching. Every other player lives in the same galaxy, and you can choose to share your discoveries with them on a map that spans known space. Perhaps you will see the results of their actions as well as your own...

No Man's Sky is a decade old. Let that sink in. No, seriously, you'll need plenty of water to survive the trips that the massive space game's 10th anniversary update allows you to embark on. It's now possible to get up close and personal with the stars that serve as suns in each system. Or, if the risk of fiery death's not your cup of tea, you can establish a new home by taking over as director of a space station or building an orbital base that floats among the stars. Read more

Read full update on Steam ↗It's hard to think that No Man's Sky is nearly ten years old. I remember being there in the glorious summer of 2016. Pokémon GO was all the rage, but I was even more excited for Hello Games' space game to drop. As we know, it was an underwhelming launch, and so would begin one of the best comeback stories in modern gaming. No longer the bland, isolated experience of yesteryear, No Man's Sky is now one of the genre's heaviest hitters. What better way is there to celebrate that than by pulling us all together and having us face off against a giant drone armada? Read the full story on PCGamesN: New No Man's Sky The Swarm update threatens the universe with a murderous, robotic hive - not the bees!
Read full update on Steam ↗It's the Death Star! Well, sort of. It's a big robo-eye invading the galaxy with a swarm of killer drones, as No Man's Sky goes a bit Helldivers 2-ish in its latest update. Dubbed The Swarm, it'll see folks filed away from their not quite Pokemon battles to join three factions who'll need to work together in ship battles to fend off a big Robo-eye with a space station-scorching laser. Read full update on Steam ↗You can't really go wrong with creature collecting. Give me a colorful world with cute critters to capture and pit against one another and my wallet is yours. It's what being raised on a diet of Pokémon and Digimon will do to a person; not that I'm complaining. No Man's Sky already sports some incredible views from the space game's generated planets, and you've been able to tame many of its Xenos for several years. The only thing that's been missing is some good ol' fashioned brawling, but its freshly-launched Xeno Arena update changes that. Read the rest of the story... Read full update on Steam ↗Ooh, it hasn't got a Pokemon-style mode that lets you collect a bunch of alien critters and force them to fight to the death in a fashion that might be deemed barbaric if it wasn't so bloodless and cutesy. That would've likely been my answer if you'd asked me what ever-growing No Man's Sky doesn't have at this point before I read about its latest update. That latest update, Xeno Arena, adds in Pokemon-style alien critter collecting and battling mechanics. Read more

Read full update on Steam ↗The redemption of No Man's Sky following its opinion-splitting launch was certainly impressive, but Hello Games didn't stop there. Read full update on Steam ↗Back in July, No Man's Sky reached version 5.0 with the Worlds update, which refreshed its planetary generation to introduce more variety alongside more detailed water, clouds, and weather. For now, you can look forward to some hugely-revamped planet biome tech that should make things extra immersive, and a new expedition involving a flamethrower-packing mech suit. This latest update follows the bunch Hello Games has already deployed so far this year, including the Omega update, the Orbital update which finally brought us ship customisation, and the Adrift update that taught us how it feels to be a bit lonely. To be fair, I'd have struggled to outdo giving people interstellar Pimp My Ride.
