Reborn as Xiao Mao, an eighteen-year-old outer disciple of the Azure Cloud Sect, you awaken with memories of another life and a place at the very bottom of the cultivation world. You have a room, a few supplies, and the chance to become something greater, provided you can survive your fellow disciples’ idea of a friendly spar!

An Immortal’s Journey combines visual novel storytelling with a cultivation RPG built around daily life in a Chinese fantasy sect.

Cultivate your way

Choose a cultivation scripture, develop your attributes, learn combat arts, and prepare for your next breakthrough. Growing stronger takes time, and training must share your day with work, exploration, and rest.

Find your place in the sect

Explore the sect grounds, accept commissions, gather materials, and put your earnings toward equipment and techniques. Tend the spirit fields, work at the forge, or take on duties that send you somewhere unexpected. Even a missing pig can become considerably more trouble than the notice suggested.

Get to know your fellow disciples

Reunite with the fiercely competitive Jiang Chixia and your childhood friend Wen Ruyue. Illustrated conversations and story events bring their ambitions, friendships, and disagreements into your daily routine. Watch the sect map for opportunities to spend time with them.

Put your training to the test

Practice against training constructs or fight demonic beasts in turn-based combat, using attacks, martial arts, Daoist arts, and consumables. Major story confrontations unfold through illustrated scenes accompanied by music, sound effects, and battle effects.
