They came out of the treeline at dusk. Armored beetles. Skittering hordes. Hornets that blot out the sky. Between them and the end of everything stands a single command post, and a commander who refuses to fall.
ALPH: Last Bastion is a tower defense game about building a fortress worth fighting for, and the rush of watching it hold when the whole swarm crashes into it at once.
Every battle begins on open ground. Plant turrets, supply depots and generators anywhere on the field, carve out kill zones, and reshape your defense between waves. Where you build matters just as much as what you build.
Chattering machine guns. Patient sniper nests. Mortar barrages, roaring flamethrowers, homing missiles and tesla coils that leap from bug to bug. Every tower plays differently, every tower has a signature specialty, and the real power lies in how you combine them.
Generators supercharge every tower in their reach and light your defenses up with raw speed. But power is a target: lose a generator and its boost goes dark until you bring it back online.
The swarm never fights the same way twice. Armored brutes shrug off small arms, healers keep the horde alive, flyers sweep straight over your ground defenses and raiders go hunting for your gold. Every wave asks a new question of your base.
Then the ground starts to shake. Monstrous beasts crawl out of the dark, time slows as they arrive, and your entire defense has one job: bring them down before they reach the heart of your bastion.
Every battle pays out medals, win or lose. Spend them in the Arsenal to unlock new towers, sharpen their stats, push their specialties further and hand-pick the loadout you carry into the next fight. Every defeat makes your next stand stronger.
Tower defense with real freedom: build anywhere on an open battlefield and design your own fortress.
A diverse arsenal of turrets, each with its own role, upgrade path and signature specialty.
A living economy: supply depots, generators and smart layouts reward commanders who plan ahead.
A relentless swarm of armored, healing, flying and raiding bugs that keeps you adapting.
Spectacular boss battles with slow-motion arrivals and explosive finishes.
Lasting progression: unlock, upgrade and build your perfect loadout, battle after battle.
Endless mode for commanders who never want the fight to end.
Steam Achievements and Steam Cloud saves.
The bastion is yours to hold, Commander. How long can you last?
