About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Build a property empire, one cosy home at a time.

World Estate is a relaxed property tycoon game in toy-like 3D cities. Start with one sunny flat, make it lovely, choose your tenants and grow a portfolio across seven cities, each with its own market, bank and mood.

Every building in the city is somebody's: buy what is listed, or make the owner an offer.

Owners talk back. Haggle, ask for the furniture, or walk away.

Borrow from the region's bank: fixed or variable, ten to twenty years.

Move walls, lay floors, paint and furnish, room by room, or look down on the plan from above.

Over a hundred pieces from basic to luxury makers, with ceiling lights and lamps that glow at night.

Do small jobs yourself: walk your builder through the rooms to fix a sofa, paint a wall or mow the lawn.

A better home earns a better rent. Worn furniture and tired paint cost you.

Households have jobs, pets and routines: watch them come home, switch the lights on and go to bed.

They tell you what they like about the home and what they miss nearby.

Neighbours get on, or they clash. Answer requests, raise the rent, chase the rent that is late.

Every city's figures side by side, a month-end cash flow and every tenant on one list.

Hire managers and crews, insure against floods and earthquakes, build on empty land.

Porto Alva, the landlord's school. Kingsmere, the vault. Hartwell Bay and its auctions. Sakurano's micro-flats. Mina Zahra's short stays and towers. Montelira's student rooms. Silvergate's startup offices. A portfolio spread across cities, combining their strengths, does best.

Local city: several players take turns in the same city on one computer, offline.

Friends' city: join by code and race each other over ten game years.

The online city and a weekly challenge with a ranking.
