About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Made by someone with nearly 10 years of experience working in a gyudon (beef bowl) shop: a first-person 3D shop sim that keeps the real job's steps and limits.

Open a small gyudon shop called "Ushidon!", then prep, plate, serve, ring up and wash up your way to a thriving business. The heart of the game is surviving the lunch rush mayhem by calling out to your friends. Playing alone (a one-person shift) works all the way through, too.

## The job is the job

- Rice: wash, light the burner, then wait 30 minutes. Cooking after you run out is too late, so every day you decide when to start the next pot, before the low-rice warning sounds.

- Beef: simmer a bag of beef with measured onions and sauce for about 15 minutes. Miss the amounts and the taste drifts.

- Plating: regular, large and extra large bowls, extra sauce or no sauce, extra onion or no onion, toppings. The ladle amount decides how good the bowl is.

- IH burners (only two, and the biggest bottleneck), microwave, fryer, soup, and restocking the side dishes.

- Dishes: bowls run out unless you wash them. Keep the racks and the dishwasher moving.

- Serving within 5 minutes is the norm. Get the food out before the anger meter fills.

- Takeout: take orders at the takeout counter, gather the items into one bag, hand it over and ring it up. Answer the phone quickly: phone orders are always big, and the customer comes to pick them up 30 minutes later.

## Out of rice? Closed for the day

Running out of rice forces the shop to close and cuts the manager's pay. The warning beeps, the red countdown band and the "Closed: Out of Rice!" notice make for a hilarious disaster, and that is the signature of this game.

## Online co-op for 1-4 players

Invite friends through Steam for up to four players. Proximity voice (only nearby teammates hear you) and call-outs like "Rice!" and "IH!" make people shout naturally. More players means more customers. On short-handed days, part-time NPC helpers (Sato, Tanaka and Suzuki) lend a hand.

## Your shop grows every day

After closing, place orders, buy equipment, unlock menu items, hire part-timers and decorate. A Head Office review comes every 7 days and a final review on day 30, and then you can keep going in free-play service. There are three difficulty levels.

## Features

- A shop sim made by a gyudon shop veteran, keeping the real steps and limits

- Rice: wash, light, 30 minutes. You can't wait until you run out, so you must read ahead

- Out of rice means an instant forced closure and a pay cut, so judge before the warning sounds

- Detailed bowl orders (regular, large, extra large, extra sauce or none, extra onion or none, toppings), plus IH burners, a microwave and a fryer

- A lunch rush where the 5-minute rule, the anger meter, group customers and big phone takeout orders pile up

- 1-4 player online co-op with proximity voice and call-outs, and solo play all the way through

- A shop that grows with ordering, 18 equipment upgrades, 15 menu items, part-timers and decor, a 30-day run with a Head Office final review, then free play

- Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese. All music and sound effects are original. Gamepad supported

## For streamers and video makers

All music and sound effects are original, and no outside music is used. The Streamer Mode setting replaces other players' Steam names with P1-P4. The in-game art and 3D models are drawn with code, with no AI image generation.
