Welcome to a desktop that desperately needs cleaning.
Endless-looking green hills. A bright blue sky. Floating folders. And far too many suspicious files hiding in the grass.
In GRASS.EXE, every patch you clear brings you closer to recovering a mysterious computer—and discovering who it belonged to.
Start small and work your way up to a trimmer and lawn mower. Clear satisfying paths through the field, uncover yellow data cubes, and throw them into corrupted folders to restore their contents.
Upgrade from carrying individual cubes to floppy disks and CDs that hold bigger batches and pull in nearby data.
Red cubes, damaged files, and roaming viruses are scattered across the landscape. Switch tools to scan threats, tackle different recovery challenges, and send viruses into quarantine. Expand your processing capacity and upgrade your defenses as the infections get more demanding.
And please, don’t trust the pop-up offering free RAM.
Explore 58 folders filled with photos, memes, animated GIFs, anime pictures, personal notes, and abandoned ideas. Some are funny. Some are embarrassing. Some don’t quite add up.
Names change. Familiar faces look different. Memories contradict each other.
The more you recover, the less certain you become that the person behind this computer ever existed.
A colorful cleanup game with a nostalgic desktop interface, satisfying upgrades, ridiculous malware, and something unsettling buried beneath the lawn.
Steam currently lists 12 Nov 2026 as the release date.
