About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Break a boss and the loot rains down: crystals arc out, land one by one and light up the arena in the beam of their rarity. Six rarities and 50 legendaries, and seven prismatic items that each break a rule you know from every run. Nothing you pick up is ever lost, even if you fall.

Every boss guards a signature legendary of its own.

Brilliant cuts and a kiln to recut, polish, archive and imprint legendary effects.

The swarm comes from every side and never stops, yet every enemy in it has a shape, a role and a tell. The spear marks its lane before it charges, the sniper draws its aiming line, the drum sends out a ring with gaps. Read it, dash through it, punish it.

30+ enemy types and 25 bosses that unfold like living polyhedra. Your dash makes you untouchable for a heartbeat, and your nova, charged by your own kills, bursts out as a shock front that wipes out the enemy fire around you. Every kill shatters: the shards fly with the force of the shot that broke them, smoke and embers drift, and the walls crack and scorch as the fight goes on.

Your ship is your build: four ships, ten weapon types, twelve modules and seven gear slots. Every run lays cards on top: 60 run cards and dozens of synergies. Pull a pack together and lance it, chill a swarm and set it ablaze, bank your shots off the walls.

A constellation of 100 stars with keystones and crowns that change how you play.

Co-op for two: side by side on one screen or online with a friend via Steam. Each pilot plays their own profile and keeps their own loot. In the Endless Run you leap into another band after every boss, and anomalies change the rules on the way.

Replay every band you have opened at higher intensities and hunt its signature legendaries at your best item level.

The Summit: the finale at ever higher grades, with a new twist every week. The richest source of prismatic gear.

Daily and weekly flights give everyone the same flight and the same loaner ship, and Steam leaderboards keep score, solo and as a pair.

The Spectrion, the order of all light, has shattered, and the spectrum fell apart into six bands. Each has its own enemies, bosses, colours and music, from time fields that slow every bullet to a void that swallows the floor. At the White Point all bands meet in one last fight against the heart of the broken spectrum.

Play solo or local co-op fully offline, no internet connection needed. On PC it goes all the way: Ultra settings, 4K, ultrawide 21:9 with a wider view and 7.1 surround sound. On a Mac with Apple silicon it runs natively, and Steam Cloud carries your profiles between PC, Mac and Steam Deck. On Steam Deck it plays smoothly: 90 fps on Steam Deck OLED, Deck controls and button prompts, menus made for the handheld screen.

Mouse and keyboard or controller (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam Deck), every button rebindable.

Steam Cloud carries your profiles between PC and Steam Deck.

Three colour-blind modes, reduced flashing, adjustable screen shake and slow motion, UI scale from 75 to 150 %.

Accessibility: one-stick mode (your ship aims and fires by itself), assist options (25 % or 50 % less damage to your ship, game speed 90, 80 or 70 %; loot and rank XP stay whole, runs with Assist do not go on the leaderboards) and mono audio; every screen can be played with the keyboard alone.

English, German and Simplified Chinese.

Photosensitivity warning: this game contains fast flashing lights and patterns. A reduced-flashing option is available in the settings.
