Description

Ryu from Capcom's fighting game Street Fighter 6 joins Desktop Mate!

Ever training, this martial artist seeks true strength. Well-mannered and sincere, Ryu travels the globe in search of worthy opponents. This DLC brings him to Desktop Mate under the supervision of CAPCOM Co., Ltd.

The highlight of this DLC is the "Move Action" feature, a Desktop Mate first that lets you blast windows away. Click him rapidly to unleash his special move, the Hadoken. When the fireball hits a window, it sends the window flying in the direction it's traveling. Windows that are blown away bounce off the edges of the screen before coming to a stop. Keep clicking even more, and the Move Action powers up into his Level 3 Super Art, Shin Shoryuken, sending windows flying with explosive force.

From time to time, his special move turns into its "OD (Overdrive) version," wrapped in a golden aura. Each OD move consumes the Drive Gauge, and once the gauge is empty, he enters a "Burnout" state, surrounded by a gray aura. Click him in this state and he'll collapse in a "Stun"—a touch unique to Desktop Mate.

Normally, he shows off his signature pose with his arms crossed and headband fluttering, or takes his stance to refocus his spirit. He never skips training, working through push-ups, and when seated, he takes a moment to relax with some yokan (sweet bean jelly). Since Move Actions only trigger when you click him rapidly, he stays by your side on your desktop without getting in the way of your work.

His voice lines come straight from Street Fighter 6, in both Japanese and English. When he unleashes his special move, he lets out familiar battle cries such as "Hadoken!" With Multi-Character Mode, you can also display him alongside Chun-Li.

◯Features

・A Desktop Mate first: the "Move Action" feature that blasts windows away

・Unleash his special move "Hadoken" and his Level 3 Super Art "Shin Shoryuken"

・Street Fighter 6-inspired effects, including OD versions, the Drive Gauge, Burnout, and Stun

・Signature Ryu motions: crossed arms, refocusing his spirit, push-ups, eating yokan, and more

・In-game voice lines from Street Fighter 6 (available in Japanese and English)

・3D model supervised by CAPCOM Co., Ltd.

◯How to Use Move Actions

While the character is standing idle, click on the character rapidly and rhythmically. The move changes depending on how many times you click.

・Click once: Normal poke reaction

・Click 5+ times: Special move "Hadoken"

・Click 10+ times: Charge motion, then Level 3 Super Art "Shin Shoryuken"

・Each time a special move is performed, there is a 50% chance it changes into its OD version. In the OD version, the character is surrounded by a golden aura, and the Drive Gauge appears above the character's head. There is no way to trigger the OD version on purpose, so just keep performing special moves.

・The direction of the move is determined by where you last clicked. Click to the right of the character's center to attack to the right, or to the left of the center to attack to the left.

・If there is a pause between clicks, the clicking is treated as finished. If you have clicked fewer than 5 times at that point, no move is performed and the character returns to standing.

・Place a window in the direction of the move to see the move hit the window.

・Moves cannot be performed while the character is sitting, being grabbed, appearing, or exiting.

◯How to Stun

1. Perform special moves repeatedly until you get the OD version 3 times. The Drive Gauge starts with 6 bars when the character appears, and each OD version uses 2 bars.

2. After the third OD version, the character enters a Burnout state, surrounded by a gray aura with flickering particles.

3. While the character is in Burnout, click the character once.

4. The character is stunned, collapses, and then gets back up and returns to standing.

・If about 3 seconds pass in the Burnout state, the character returns to standing without being stunned. The Drive Gauge is then restored to 6 bars.

◯How to Switch Voice Language

You can choose Japanese or English for each character from the individual character settings on the settings screen.

◯Notes

・Move Actions are available on both Windows and Mac. On Mac, moves only hit a window if Desktop Mate is allowed in the OS permission settings.

・Blowing away windows does not affect any data inside them.

・Multi-Character Mode is not currently available on the Mac version (open beta).

・Desktop Mate is required to use this content. Please update to the latest version before use. ・Please use this content in accordance with the "Capcom Video Policy" on the CAPCOM CO., LTD. official website.
