You died, and woke up as the hero of an auto battler. The only way through is to win: build your ability tree, take your party through five adventures, and watch every fight play itself out.
Your abilities are marbles , and you slot them into your tree. Marble have unique active that fire on their own cooldown in a fight, and many have a passive that flows down the tree to the marbles below it. Where you put a marble decides which other ones get the effect: positioning is key.
130 marbles in five rarities, from Common to Legendary
Six elements, wind, fire, earth, light, dark and ice, with burns, freezes, slows, crits, shields and more
Merge the copies you find to raise a marble from tier I to tier V
Cursed marbles: strong, and once slotted they never leave their node
Each run you choose from three reincarnations, and what you are decides the shape of your tree.
Yusha , the classic hero, branching every way
Wizard , built for magic
Healer , two branches and a lot of mending
Neet , no powers of their own: borrows everyone else's marbles and grows the tree where you choose
Slime , one long line that stacks passives deeper than anyone, and takes the monsters' own marbles
Sword , who can't walk: an adventurer carries it into every fight
The first three are yours from the start. The Neet, the Slime and the Sword unlock when you do something strange.
Gold in, knob round, capsule out. The GG machine answers by magic between every step, wherever your party is. Turn it for marbles, and hope for a golden capsule: it always holds an Epic or a Legendary.
The Goblin Woods, the Bandit Road, the Troll Bridge, the Cursed Keep and the Dragon's Lair: random encounters, events and rival parties, with a boss at the end of each. Every fight you lose costs a heart. Lose all four and the run is over.
Between adventures, the guild's main hall has adventurers to hire into your party and a quest board full of jobs and deliveries.
The rival parties you meet are other players' parties, as they stood at that same step of their run. Beat them to climb the ranked ladder, and browse the leaderboard to see who is on top. No connection? You play against generated rivals instead.
More reincarnations, adventures and marbles will come during Early Access.
