This free demo of Looks Fine on Paper includes 15 puzzles, including tutorial levels that introduce you to the game mechanics.
Reconstruct floor plans by working through interconnected constraints involving rooms, doors, windows, and furniture.
The full game is currently planned to include around 100 puzzles, with increasingly challenging constraints.
Looks Fine on Paper is a logic puzzle game built around interconnected spatial constraints. Each level presents different area requirements and spatial clues. Starting with a blank blueprint, you must reason your way to a floor plan that satisfies every condition.
Rooms have no predefined shapes or positions. Use area requirements and spatial clues to determine the shape, size, and placement of each room, gradually completing the floor plan.
Room-to-room adjacency, the placement of doors and windows, interactions between furniture, and how furniture relates to room boundaries, doors, and windows must all be considered.
These constraints are interconnected. Every decision can affect other requirements.
A room with exactly the right area might leave no space for another. Moving a piece of furniture could resolve one conflict while creating a new one.
You must untangle the relationships between all the conditions, reasoning, testing, and adjusting until you find a layout where every requirement is satisfied.
The real challenge is making everything work at once.
