About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Defending the colonies is your job now

Space Year 2899. Japan's settlements beyond Earth come under attack: storms of debris, the membrane-like lifeforms called the Veil, and unmarked drones that nobody admits to owning. You are the new Operations Chief of the Space Facility Defense Office. Place defenses on a tight budget and hold all ten colonies. Play as Shingo Asamura or Mizuki Saegusa, two chiefs with different traits who tell the story in their own words.

The shape of the route changes everything

Every stage has its own route layout: an orbit that doubles back three times, a spiral winding into the center, three lanes merging into one funnel, a ring circling the colony. Only a few spots cover two lanes at once, and special pads (◆) that boost damage or range force a choice. Stage rules add EM storms, evacuation escorts and enemy trace-backs.

Build, upgrade, then choose one of two

Six lines of defense: Interceptor Cannons, Missile Launchers, Laser Cannons, Sensor Stations, Shield Generators and EW Stations. Enemies come armored, shielded, stealthed, splitting and jamming, so no single tower can hold the line. At Lv3 each installation takes one of two final upgrades , such as the Railgun or the Flak Cannon. Orbital Strikes, Target Marking and prototype modules can turn a battle around.

Lose, research, come back stronger

Even a failed defense pays Research Points for every wave survived. Spend them across a web of 130+ research projects spreading out from the Defense Office, then try again. Refunds are always free. Combine burning, corrosion, chain explosions and critical hits into your own defense doctrine, and keep up to three saved builds.

After the credits

A Special Order on every stage, budget Challenges that cap your total research, and New Game+ that keeps your research while the enemy grows tougher and adapts to the towers you lean on.
