About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Only 46 are real.

There are 1,000 slips of paper in the box. Only 46 of them are the "correct" hiragana that match the guide, from "あ" to "ん". The rest are katakana, kanji, and fake letters. Watch out especially for variant forms.

The hiragana table sits at the top of the screen, and every empty cell shows a faint outline of the correct shape. Find the hiragana written in exactly that form. No Japanese needed: just compare the shapes.

Why not take it slow with a cup of coffee, in a UI that looks like a nostalgic old PC desktop? Just like sneaking a game of Solitaire at the office back in the '90s.

……Just watch out for the boss behind you.

How to Play

Dig through the pile to find the correct ones

Set suspicious papers aside in the tray — you can carry it anywhere on screen

Feed the wrong ones to the goat, one at a time or the whole tray at once

Think you found a correct one? Drop it on the cell with the same shape

Fed a correct one to the goat by mistake? Don't worry — it comes back to the box. (Along with a few more wrong ones.)

Features

Mouse-only controls: drag to grab, right-drag to move the box, scroll to zoom

Clear the game once to unlock Sage Mode — with 10,000 papers

100 achievements: 46 hiragana × 2 modes, plus hidden ones and more

Streaming & Videos

Feel free to stream it, make Let's Plays, or upload videos (monetization is fine, no need to contact us). It also makes a nice companion for chatting streams.

The background music includes tracks created using generative AI. Music is off by default and can be turned on from the radio icon on the game screen. Whether to use it on stream is up to you.
