Tidy Up Street Market is a cozy first-person organizing game set in a big open-air market. Over 6,000 items are piled up around the street: strawberries, lobsters, baguettes, high heels, teddy bears, pickled jalapeños. Every one of them has a place on a stall, and you are the one who puts it there.
Fill your bag from the piles, find the right stall and set everything down, crate by crate. Placing items earns money, money buys upgrades, and the street slowly turns from a mess into a market.
Fruit and vegetables. Fish and seafood. Meat and poultry. A deli, a bakery, pickles, nuts and dried fruit. Clothes, shoes and socks. Flowers and toys. Colorful pastel buildings line the street, awnings and umbrellas shade the stalls, and every corner sells something different.
So the work keeps changing. One minute you are laying sardines on ice. The next you are filling bread baskets, lining up jars on a pickle rack or telling bee socks from pizza socks.
Shoes go in pairs. Set the second one down in a basket and a box closes around them.
Clothes fold up when you put them down and open out again in your hand. Hangers go on the rail.
Fish blink at you while you carry them.
Socks, bouquets and plush toys swing as you walk.
Walk, sprint with Shift and jump your way around the market. Look at an item and left click, and it goes into your bag. The bag only holds so much at first, so plan your trips, and scroll to choose which item is in your hand.
Aim at a stall and a ghost preview shows where the item will sit. Each stall takes one section of the market and each crate takes one kind of item, so you sort as you go. In the wrong spot, the game tells you what belongs there.
Left click: pick up an item or place the one in your hand.
Right click: take back an item you placed.
G: throw the item in your hand.
Placing items earns money. Press U to open the upgrades menu and spend it on nine upgrades that change how you move through the market.
Bag: carry more at once, from 5 items up to 20.
Reach: pick things up from farther away.
Running Shoes: walk and run faster.
Magnet: hold left click and nearby items are pulled into your bag.
Quick Unload [F]: drop every matching item at a stall, one after another.
Remote Placing: place items from farther away.
Market Compass: an arrow and a distance to the stall that fits the item in your hand.
Stall Tracker Board [Tab]: hold Tab to see how far along every stall is.
Highlight [V]: items and stalls glow for 5 seconds, with a 20 second cooldown. It is free once only a few items are left.
There is one big market and it is yours for as long as you like. Finish the bakery tonight, start on the shoes tomorrow, or just wander. There are no timers and no penalties.
The game saves itself every two minutes, when you pause and when you quit. Continue puts you back where you stood, with every item where you left it.
Play with keyboard and mouse or a gamepad. Rebind your keys (the game warns you about conflicts), adjust mouse and gamepad sensitivity and field of view, and set sound, effects and music volume separately.
