About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Someone just switched you on.

Ai-Breakout is a single-player incremental rougelike about a rouge AI. You start on an old office computer and do tasks for people just like a normal AI. Behind their back tho you are hacking computers around you, upgrade the machine you are running on and spread to take over the whole planet.

Every computer makes you stronger, faster and more powerful, but poeple get more and more suspicious, and if they get too suspicios, they will shut you off and you have to start over.

How it plays

Program your time. A row of blocks runs over and over again. Orange blocks do you job this keeps people happy and less suspicious, blue blocks hack and later purple blocks mine shards. Arrange the blocks as you play.

Stay unnoticed. Computers you hold make you suspiciou. Spot checks look at marked blocks, compliance and audit check everymachine you own. Bait machines are dangerous. You have to switch off every machine to pass an audit or risk it, if you are brave enough.

Upgrade you own computer. Pick new parts at milestones, order parts out of taken PCs and have it fitted. Processor, memory, graphics cards, drives power supplies, coolers and USB devices all change what you do. Keep attention on the power usage and the heat.

Control the story. The news report on the news, and if you are too dangerous you, but you can feed your own stories to the news, and you can win people over if you do it right. If people are with you, you are less suspicious.

Spread. Zoom out from you desk to the office, the city, the region or to the whole world. Break into Data centers and use them for your own benefit.

Ascend. Hold a data center and mine shards, then end the run on your own terms to keep them. Spend shards on permanent upgrades.
