About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

This is the demo of Diversion , a creepy first person incremental game with a twisted narrative.

Please note that Diversion is still in active development and that the demo only has a fraction of upgrades, items and will feature a deeper narrative experience that takes you beyond your workstation.

You have been assigned to process defective products through the company's Advanced Observation System, an innovative waste-management solution capable of converting unwanted items into valuable energy residue.

Your role is simple: collect, feed, upgrade, and meet your quota. Further inquiry is neither required nor encouraged.

Process defective items by throwing them at the observation system. Each item must be fully processed before it produces energy residue; the more complex the item, the greater its potential yield.

Spend residue on upgrades that help you collect, throw, and process items more efficiently. Increase your output, earn new promotions, and transform a slow manual operation into a highly productive processing line.

Produce enough residue to unlock increasingly valuable products.

Meet your rising quota to earn a promotion that strengthens your operation. Failure to complete your quota will result in appropriate consequences.

After all, there's more to this company than meets the eye.
