To you, a computer is a tool for work. To a cat, it’s a warm spot where a human is somehow busy paying attention to something other than the cat. Time to clear up this misunderstanding.

Desktop Cat or Potat is a small, cozy idle game where hand-drawn cats keep you company while you work, study, or simply pretend to be very busy.

You have coworkers now. Furry ones.

Collect cats, let them loose on your desktop, and get to know their quirks. Each has its own habits, but they all share one thing: a rather ambitious idea of how much attention they deserve. Cats earn points that help you unlock new furry companions. More cats - more company. We’ll deal with productivity later.

The Potato Department

Grow different types of potatoes and treat your cats. Why potatoes? Good question, but the harvest won’t collect itself. Unlock new varieties and choose treats for your furry team.

The box. Humanity’s greatest invention.

Let your cats roam freely across the screen, or gather them in a box you can place wherever it suits you. Even the busiest person has room for a cat. Or several.

It can wait.

Drop into the game for a short break: gather your harvest, feed your cats, unlock a new favorite - then get back to your business while your furry companions carry on with theirs.

No important assignments. The cats are handling everything important.
