About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Your shop. Your prices. Your monsters.

You just rented a little shop on a street full of ghosts, blobs and skeletons, and Halloween is coming. Order stock on your computer, haul the boxes in, line up the shelves, set your prices and ring up customers at the register. Then build a window display so good the whole street stops to stare.

Restock, price, scan, repeat

Order from your PC. Browse 36 products in six families: candy, accessories, decor, masks, costumes and premium animatronics. Boxes are delivered right outside your door.

Fill the shelves. Grab a box and drop products into the slots one by one, or hold to stock fast. Fold empty boxes and keep the floor clear.

You set the prices. Charge too much and customers walk away. Charge too little and the rent eats you alive.

Work the register. Scan every item, then take cards or count out exact change. Prefer less math? Turn on assisted change.

Tools of the trade

Barcode scanner and cash register for fast, satisfying checkouts.

Card terminal and cash drawer with real bills and coins.

Price tag gun to relabel a whole shelf in seconds.

Hand truck to move stacks of boxes from the delivery spot to the stockroom.

Broom and mop to clean up spilled candy and monster goo.

Build mode with grid snapping to place, rotate, move and sell furniture.

MonstrOS, your shop computer, for suppliers, prices, staff, renovations, reports and events.

Build a window display that stops traffic

Put products, lights and an animated attraction in your shop window. Monsters on the sidewalk stop, point, gasp and walk in. Set up the ghost, the witch and the scarecrow, test them on the spot and let a motion sensor trigger them on their own.

Grow from a corner shop to a haunted emporium

15 levels, four decoration themes (pumpkins, graveyard, witchcraft and haunted mansion) and seasonal events leading up to the Great Halloween.

Buy shelves, wall panels, clothing racks, display platforms, cauldrons, candelabras, pumpkins and tombstones.

Unlock a stockroom, a bigger sales floor and an annex.

Hire cashiers and restockers and pay their wages at closing time.

Daily reports show sales, costs, rent, energy and profit, so you always know why you made or lost money.

A town full of monsters

Yetis, mushroom kings, blobs, skeletons, ghosts and more wander the streets, sit on benches, chat and window shop. Some of them walk into your shop and become customers, each with patience, a budget and strong opinions about your prices. And yes, you can throw a box at someone's head. They will go down, they will get back up, and they will not be happy.

Good to know

Single-player, first-person shop simulator.

Keyboard and mouse or controller.

Cartoon monsters and spooky decorations: no gore, no jump-scare chases.

Multiple save slots with autosave.

One-time purchase, no microtransactions.
