About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

A Cruise for Murder  is a free, fan tribute to the original 1991 game "Cruise for a Corpse".  It is a point and click game which features the same story about a Police Inspector invited in a cruise and suddently his host and friend is found murdered. It has many common things with the original game and lots of different aspects.

Enjoy:

Classic point and click gameplay

2.5D pre-rendered backgrounds with real-time 3D characters

Voices

15 fresh puzzles to solve

4 different scenarios for the murderer

Original music and sound effects

Explore the ship and, unlike the original game, gather clues in non-linear fashion

A Word From the Developer

I have been playing adventure games since 1990 and dreaming of making one almost as long. I am a low-level C++ developer by trade — not an artist, not an animator — and for most of that time, making a game of this kind felt genuinely out of reach. The combination of Unity, Adventure Creator, Turbo Play and the AI-assisted tools I built into my own engine finally made it possible. Every room in this ship is a place I wanted to visit. I hope you feel the same way when you step inside.
