Description

The music of the road west

Every pipa note in Westward Dash was played by Lingrujiang, the developer's wife, who has been learning the instrument for two years. She arranged the accompanying instruments herself with Suno AI. This album collects all eight pieces heard at the table, at the levels she set, tagged for the Steam Music Player.

Tracks

01 Purple Bamboo (紫竹调), a Jiangnan folk melody

02 Moon on High (小月儿高), a traditional classical pipa piece

03 Morning Dew (朝露), original

04 Rain over Jiangnan (雨落江南), original

05 Rain in the Bamboo Grove (竹林听雨), original

06 Colorful Clouds Chasing the Moon (彩云追月), a Cantonese folk melody

07 Kingfisher on the Wind (翠羽惊风), original

08 Send Me a Rose (送我一支玫瑰花), a Xinjiang folk song

MP3 at 320 kbps, plus lossless FLAC. The files install to your Steam music library and play in the Steam Music Player or any player you like.

A modern take on qin se he ming, two instruments in harmony: he writes the game, she plays the pipa.
