About this game

Seven bottles. A boat. Something moving beneath the surface.

Deadrise combines survival horror with physical boat handling on a restless ocean. In its main mode, **Dead Reckoning**, you venture into open water at night, searching for seven drifting bottles before making for the extraction light.

Fog cuts your view short. Your compass keeps you on course. Your sonar can reveal the seabed and whatever is hunting you, but every pulse tells it exactly where you are.

Listen to the water

Your engine makes noise, too. Push the throttle to cover ground, or ease off and let the hunter lose your trail. Watch for a fin, a shape in the water, and a moon turning red as danger builds.

Learn to handle the sea

Read approaching wave faces, manage your throttle, and keep your hull upright. Swell lifts your boat, steep waves rob it of momentum, and taking heavy seas on the beam can capsize you. Changing conditions make every crossing a fresh test of judgment.
