Description

A Cabinet of Jigsaw Puzzles

You've inherited a small print workshop and a cabinet of uncatalogued prints. Each print arrives as a Working Proof. Assemble it on the table, reveal the finished version, then file it in your Cabinet.

Spread pieces across the table, sort them to the side, and assemble sections away from the board. Connected pieces move together, so you do not have to start at the edges.

24 Prints, Two Albums

Post & Passage collects streets, buildings, ships, postcards, correspondence, and travel material.

Field & Facet covers botanical prints, minerals, natural-history specimens, and original Benchlight compositions.

Each album contains 12 prints, with additional prints unlocked as you progress.

Choose Your Cut

Choose from several Piece Styles and five sizes: 12, 24, 48, 96, or 192 pieces. Piece count is only part of the difficulty. Some cuts use less familiar shapes and give you fewer obvious places to start.

Rotate pieces freely or in exact 90-degree steps

Sort and assemble pieces outside the puzzle board

Move connected clusters as a group

Remove placed pieces to try a different fit

Save a puzzle and resume later

Working Proofs and Second Look

The Working Proof may be faded, worn, or marked up like a print still in production. Completing the puzzle reveals its finished version.

Selected prints have a Second Look challenge. Zoom into the completed image, follow three clues, and find details you may have missed while assembling it. Second Look is optional.

Made for Mouse and Touch

Play with a mouse or directly on a Windows touchscreen. Piece handling, paper, and drawers have their own sounds. Music is selected for each print's subject. The game runs offline, without an account or subscription, and is designed for ordinary Windows PCs, including integrated graphics.

Steam achievements and Prestige are included.

Steam & Steel

Steam & Steel is a separate 16-print expansion covering railways, locomotives, bridges, workshops, technical drawings, and industrial scenes. It adds more music and requires the base game.
