About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Death Lies East is primarily a cozy grinder with minimal story, quick hack and slash combat, and upgradeable loot mechanics. How far will you go? Will this world rid itself of the monsters that plague it?

Hours upon hours of that sweet, sweet grind if that is the type of gameplay you enjoy.

Gameplay that won't hold your hand or tell you how to progress.

Inspired by Diablo 2 style mechanics and progression set in an old school JRPG.

Minimal story and dialogue and maximum incremental progression.

NO turn-based combat scenes. All combat is super quick and in real time on the main maps.

Visible enemies and no randomized encounters.

LOTS of grinding for weapons, lootables, levels, and unlocks. This is one of the main points of the game. If you don't enjoy a good grind, this may not be for you.
