About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

THE DOOM HERALD IS WAKING. YOUR GUILD HAS UNTIL THE CLOCK RUNS OUT.

You never swing a sword. Every fight plays itself, and you win before it starts.

BUILD A GUILD, THEN LET GO

Hire from a deep roster of classes, choose each hero's specialization, and give them an ability borrowed from another class. Then write their behaviour rules, set the marching order, and watch the plan survive contact. Or not.

COMBOS ARE THE STRATEGY

Heroes leave states on their foes: Burning, Chilled, Oiled, Exposed and more. Others exploit them. Chill a chilled foe to freeze it, then shatter it.

THE DOOMBREAKER

Every hit, kill and fallen hero fills the Doombreaker. When it's full, fate picks the party's ultimate. In co-op, the whole group shares one.

EVERY EXPEDITION COSTS DOOM

Every expedition burns the Doom Clock. Longer ones pay more. And as the clock climbs, a Harbinger lays siege to your town.

FACE THE HERALD

When the clock runs out, or whenever you dare, climb the Herald's Monolith. At the top waits a raid boss fought in phases. Unspent Doom adds to your score.

LOOT THAT CHANGES THE PLAN

Clear verdicts and one-click best gear. Curses trade an upside for a price, and legendaries rewrite a hero's signature ability.

PLAY TOGETHER, OR AGAINST EACH OTHER

- Co-op (2-4): a guild each, one shared clock and map, votes on where to go.

- Rival runs (1v1 / 2v2): same seed, arena bouts at every Doom tier, a fight to the death at the end.

- PvP Arena (1v1 / 2v2): draft heroes, bid blind for gear, best of five.

Online through Steam, LAN or Direct Connect.
