Greaselord is a satirical strategy game about building the biggest fast food empire on the planet. Choose your headquarters on a living world map, spread across land, sea and air, and win 80% of the world market - before the health authorities ban fast food worldwide or the rival chains take the world.
Name your chain, design its logo and choose one of 14 main dishes - from burger, pizza and hot dog to fried chicken, tacos, wok noodles and donuts. Every dish reaches different customers at a different price and is loved in different regions of the world. Then pick one of 169 countries and territories as your headquarters: the neighbours, the local taste and the world situation of the round decide how fast you grow.
What kind of chain do you want to be? Budget draws crowds with low prices, but cheap fat and sugar bring the health authorities down on you. Premium earns more from fewer customers, but the big chains see you as a threat and strike back. Fast Expansion grows everywhere at once through franchise partners - who keep most of the money abroad. Every focus has its own opponent.
Spread over land, sea and air: your market share grows in every open country. Once it is high enough, neighbours open up - over land, across the sea, or by air. Logistics upgrades open new markets earlier.
Feed eight kinds of customers: every country consists of eight population groups - teens, seniors, commuters, families, night owls, students, foodies and bargain hunters. A country only grows as far as your menu serves its people.
Grow your menu - and choose: unlock sauces, side dishes and addictive extras in one big menu tree. Every region has its favourites, and some items stand against each other: buy one and the other is gone for the round. Addiction boosts growth and revenue - but speeds up the health ban.
Collect Secret Sauce: tap the burger bubbles that pop up over your countries before they vanish. Secret Sauce pays for the menu tree and for Government, Security and Sabotage upgrades.
Run your empire: spend your cash on Logistics, Kitchens and Farms to open markets earlier, cook cheaper and earn more. Spare cash goes into the Black Budget: Expansion Blitz, marketing campaigns, buyouts of local diners and bribes.
Fight off three rival chains: each with its own name and logo. Shoot down their cargo planes, sink their ships and collect the loot, and tap their logo in time when they try to take over one of your countries. Lost a country? Win it back.
Beat the health ban: the bigger you get, the faster the authorities prepare a worldwide fast food ban. Inspectors announce their visits, local bans hit single foods, and from 60% of the world market the whole world fights back. Lobbyists, bribes and health weeks slow it down. At 100% the round is lost.
A different world every round: every round starts with its own world situation - a burger fever in Asia, a sugar tax in Europe - and trends change tastes, growth and costs while you play.
Read the headlines: a news ticker with hundreds of headlines comments on the rise of your chain and the world around it.
Rewards: every round you play to the end pays into your Rewards account. Spend it on skins for your ships, planes, loot, routes and shot effects - looks only, they never change the game.
Reach 80% of the global market to win. You lose if the health ban reaches 100%, if the rival chains take the world before you do, if you stay in debt for a whole year, or if rivals push you out of your headquarters. You can pause or speed up the game at any time.

The world map, the country borders and the country data of Greaselord reflect the state of 2019, when the development of the game began. They are not updated to later political events and do not represent a political statement or a position on any territorial question. As in the real world, there are no winners in a war.
Greaselord is a satire. The player's chain, the rival chains, their logos and the news headlines are fictional.
