Description

Manage a monster club and aim for the Division 1 title

Monster Club League Manager is a single-player club management simulation. Recruit and develop monsters, select match lineups, and manage contracts and transfers as you work your way from the lower divisions toward the Division 1 league title.

You are both the club's coach and manager. Keep track of player ability, age, and club finances as you compete this season and prepare your squad for the next.

Choose nine monsters and watch the match

Field nine players, with three monsters in each of the front, middle, and back lines. Consider ability and positional suitability alongside fatigue and injuries when choosing who to play. Resting a tired regular can also give a young player a chance to gain experience.

Once you set your lineup and advance the week, the match plays out automatically. Watch your nine monsters compete, review the result, and plan your next lineup and signings.

Recruit rookies and develop them into regulars

In the rookie draft, compare each prospect's current ability, potential, positional suitability, and contract terms before choosing which monsters to recruit. Young players develop through training and match experience after joining the club.

Player abilities decline with age, and a new generation will eventually need to take over. Develop players for this season's matches as well as those who will support the team in the years ahead.

Manage your squad and budget through contracts and transfers

During the season, set your scouting priorities and gather information on potential transfer targets. Consider the positions you need to fill and your club's budget when deciding whom to sign.

You also decide whether to renew a key player's contract or accept a transfer offer and sell them. Negotiate transfer fees, salaries, and contract lengths while managing club funds and the total wage bill. Money from sales can fund new signings or investment in facilities.

Training and scouting facilities also need funding. Decide how much of your budget to spend on strengthening the squad and improving your facilities.

Earn promotion and prepare for the next season

The standard setup has six divisions, each with 12 clubs playing a 22-week league season. In Division 2 and below, the league winners earn automatic promotion. Clubs finishing second through fifth contest the promotion playoffs, whose winners also go up. When starting a new game, you can choose between four and ten divisions.

After promotion, you face clubs in a higher division the following season. Review your league results and rebuild your squad through rookie recruitment, contract renewals, and transfers.

You can continue managing the club after winning the Division 1 league title. As your regulars age, bring in the next generation and compete in new seasons through player development and new signings.
