You are the new inspector at a small regional sorting facility. Parcels roll in on the conveyor, each with a declaration form. Find out whether the box really holds what the sender says, apply the rules of the day and send it to the right place.
Scale : put the parcel on the pad and compare the reading with the declared weight.
X-ray scanner : look inside for hidden compartments, dense objects or an empty box.
Terminal : look up senders, recipients, postal codes, serial numbers and incidents.
Label station : fragile goods need a FRAGILE label before they leave your desk.
Stamps and trays : stamp the form and put the parcel into the tray of the same colour.
Everything is physical: pick parcels up, turn them over, read the labels and carry them where they belong.
Approve, return to sender, hold for Customs & Security, confiscate or send down the disposal chute. After the first day nobody corrects you on the spot: mistakes show up in your end-of-day report as fines, lost reputation and compliance risk.
Each shift opens with a bulletin: return fraud, invalid addresses, fragile goods, live animals, leaking canisters, lithium batteries, counterfeits. Keep the regulation booklet at hand and pin the rules you need.
Earn cash for accurate work and spend it on upgrades: a digital scale readout, an HD X-ray tube, a terminal reference database, task lighting, a larger manual review area and more.
First-person, hands-on inspection of every parcel
Hand-written cases with small, fair clues: no guessing
Work days with a growing quota and an end-of-day report
An upgrade shop for your desk and tools
Optional tutorial on the first day
Rebindable keys, field of view, interface size, subtitles, reduced camera shake and flashing

Hi everyone! Vectis tried the demo in a YouTube video and pointed out that parcel placement felt a bit off: a parcel would sometimes hang in the air for a moment, or end up sitting crooked. This small update finishes fixing that. Big parcels in the trays Some parcels are bigger than the inside of the trays. Until now they were put on the tray floor anyway, so the box went straight through the tray walls and covered the tray's sign. Now a parcel that fits lies inside the tray as before, a long one is turned to fit, and one that is simply too big rests across the rim, the way a real box would. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46485843/1b88cf4a878cdcbe66f120f805dbdffe0a0943d1.png The hanging parcel was fixed a few updates ago: a parcel placed in the X-ray could stay where you let go of it while the game already counted it as placed. That no longer happens. A clearer hint The hint for a parcel in your...
Read full update on Steam ↗Hi everyone! This update brings seven new languages to Parcel Inspector Simulator: Kazakh (Қазақша) Belarusian (Беларуская) Hebrew (עברית) Lithuanian (Lietuvių) Latvian (Latviešu) Estonian (Eesti) Georgian (ქართული) Everything is translated: the menus, the forms and rules, the letters, the story and the signs around the office. Hebrew reads right to left, with the whole interface mirrored. If your system is set to one of these languages, the game starts in it; you can also pick it any time under Settings, Language. A note on the translations The new languages were made with machine translation, so some lines may sound off or be plainly wrong. If you spot a mistake, please tell me in the Steam discussions or on Discord, with a screenshot if you can, and I will fix it. The full game, with a 20-night story campaign and seven endings, comes out on 13 November with all of these languages....
Read full update on Steam ↗Hi everyone! ElEnotio played the demo for an hour on her YouTube channel and sent me a long, detailed list of what got in her way. This update is built almost entirely from her notes. Softer sounds Picking up the telephone receiver made a sharp click that hurt in headphones, even with the sound effects turned almost all the way down, and papers made a similar sound. Both are now soft: a dull knock for the receiver and a quiet rustle for paper. Sounds that happen right next to you also no longer jump into one ear. The radio keeps playing The desk radio seemed to cut out every couple of minutes. It was not your headphones: the programme had long silent gaps between tunes. Now the tunes blend into each other under a short burst of tuning static, so the music never stops. Put a parcel down and take a closer look You can now set a parcel down to look at it. Click while looking at an empty...
Read full update on Steam ↗Hi everyone! A few streamers played the demo this week and sent me clips of what went wrong. Watching someone else play is the best way to find the rough edges, so thank you, DD and ORBITAL SIX! This update fixes everything they ran into. No more floating parcels Sometimes a parcel you put into the X-ray stayed hanging next to the machine while the scanner was already working on it. The same thing could happen at the scale and the trays, and papers and stamps could pause in the air for a moment before settling. The cause was a timing problem between your click and the physics, and it is fixed: whatever you put down now lands where it should. A parcel stays in your hands Before, a parcel jumped onto the scale, the X-ray or a tray as soon as you looked near one, which made it hard to just hold it and look at it. Now the parcel stays in your hands. The tray under your crosshair lights up...
Read full update on Steam ↗Hey everyone, Thank you to everyone who has tried the demo since it came out. Here is what has gone into the game over the last week. Unless a line says otherwise, it is in both the demo and the full game. Six new desk upgrades The shop between shifts now sells twelve upgrades instead of six. The new ones: Wood's glass filter: the UV lamp shows hidden markings in half the time and reaches further. Valve amplifier: the contact probe picks up what is inside a parcel in half the time. Coffee percolator: the shift clock runs slower, so there is more time for each parcel. Postal union card: no fines for procedural errors. Indemnity bond: the first wrong decision of each shift is not fined. Senior inspector grade: more pay for every parcel you route. The shop now scrolls, so all twelve fit on one screen. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/46485843/075e3ba38e14eed07be4a31f6d6d33a2a8b8d830.png Career record...
