24-hour and 7-day views use hourly peaks from ten-minute samples. Longer views use retained daily peaks. Up to 24 recent event markers are shown per layer.
Recent views use Steam's daily review activity. Longer views use weekly totals, retained by SteamWatch.
Files hundreds of megabytes in size open within seconds. Viewer mode and windowed editing decouple memory usage from file size, so even a huge log won't drag down the whole machine. Jump to line and streaming search work on files of any size.
One shortcut opens a note; it saves as you type. Pin it above everything, have it follow a specific app, or just use it as a normal window. Opacity is adjustable, and any note is one click away from the Dock menu or the taskbar jump list.
Syntax highlighting, detected automatically or set by hand
Find and replace, one at a time or all at once
Line endings (LF/CRLF) and encoding (UTF-8, UTF-16, Big5, Shift_JIS, 22 in total) switch on the fly
Word wrap and line numbers toggle independently
Full menu bar and shortcuts that follow each platform's conventions
Unsaved changes are snapshotted automatically. If the app closes unexpectedly, the content is still there when you reopen it. Closing a window with unsaved changes always asks first. A file with more than roughly 16 million characters of unsaved changes is too large to snapshot, so the app won't quit until you save or discard it. Nothing gets lost that way.
10 built-in themes, editable in place or saved as your own. Themes are plain data files: export to share, import from others, restore in one click. 15 interface languages, and every line of interface text can be rewritten and saved as a language file of your own.
No account, no telemetry, nothing sent anywhere.
Steam currently lists 20 Oct 2026 as the release date.
