About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

Both sides of the walls

Six tracks, seventeen minutes: the composed music of 1453: Fall of Constantinople , the illustrated historical novel about the fifty-three days of the siege. A low kös pulse from the Ottoman camp, wordless Byzantine chant from inside the city, and the long drone of waiting that sits between them.

One theme for each witness

The game gives every testimony its own music; the album opens with the overture and closes in Venice.

1453 (Main Theme) — the overture: both worlds in one bed, drum and choir far apart.

The City Holds Its Breath — the baker's daughter, the Petrion quarter and the bread queues.

The Emperor's Court — the noble, the census and the surrender embassies.

Below the City — the engineer's underground war of tunnels and countermines.

Outside the Walls — the janissary, in the camp facing the city.

Anna's Room, Venice — where Anna Notaras writes the four accounts down, fifty years later.

What's inside

6 tracks, 17:05 — the game's composed themes, each as one complete piece.

Music only — no ambience beds or sound effects.

MP3, 320 kbps — the files land in your Steam library folder, so you can play them anywhere.

Images and music are AI-assisted with human editorial control; text and code are human–AI co-written.
