BITS OVERLOAD is a tactical sci-fi card battler built around precision.
Your reactor has a target value. More energy is not always better: you need to hit the target exactly while an enemy ship is trying to destroy yours.
Stabilize the reactor, or change your plan and destroy the opposing ship first.
FOUR WAYS TO PLAY. FOUR KINDS OF PRESSURE. ONE IS CLASSIFIED.
ENDLESS Push farther and farther, sector after sector. Adapt your strategy, manage your resources, and see how long you can survive when every decision makes the next one more important.
STORY MODE • 30 SECTORS Fight through a 30-sector campaign and stop Lord Srad Raven before he can seize the energy of the universe. Two reactors, new tactical situations, and a battle that unfolds sector by sector.
TIME ATTACK • 20 SECTORS • 10 MINUTES Time is a resource. You have 10 minutes to face 20 sectors: play fast, earn precious seconds, and decide when to take risks to keep the run alive.
MODE 04 • CLASSIFIED A fourth mode exists.
We won't tell you how it works. We won't tell you what it contains.
You'll have to discover it yourself.
ENDLESS. STORY. TIME ATTACK. [CLASSIFIED] STABILIZE. ATTACK. SURVIVE.
Every card changes the equation.
Build the right sequence, manipulate your reactor value and decide which cards are worth playing now — and which ones should stay in your hand for later.
A strong turn solves the problem in front of you. A great sequence prepares the next one too.
Go beyond the reactor target and you enter Overload .
You can still bring the reactor back under control during the same sequence, but another mistake can push it toward disaster.
Learn when to avoid the risk, when to recover from it, and when to deliberately chase a Perfect Overload .
Overload is not just a penalty. It is part of the strategy.
Every battle gives you two possible objectives.
Stabilize the reactor by reaching the exact target...
...or destroy the enemy ship before it destroys you.
Attack, build shields, repair your hull and manipulate the battlefield. A hand that looked perfect for reactor stabilization may suddenly become the fastest route to a kill.
Knowing when to change your objective is part of the battle.
Unused cards do not automatically disappear at the end of the turn.
Keep useful cards, prepare future combinations and decide when spending resources to replace part of your hand is worth it.
Your hand is not just a set of actions.
It is a plan.
Runs can be disrupted by Anomalies that alter how the battle looks and plays.
Hidden cards, visual distortions and other effects can force you to rethink a situation that seemed under control only moments before.
Read the battlefield. Adapt your sequence. Keep the reactor under control.
Expand your Hangar with 100 unlockable ships , organized across different rarities and classes.
Ship classes provide small tactical bonuses such as starting shields, opening-hand advantages, bonuses to specific actions and other subtle gameplay variations.
Reach new sectors, improve your score and complete unlock conditions to expand your fleet.
Your ship does not replace your strategy.
It gives you a different edge when the run begins.
Every expedition begins again from the first sector.
Face new enemies, deal with Anomalies, unlock ships, earn medals and push your score and sector record further with every run.
The deeper you go, the more the game asks you to understand its systems rather than simply play stronger cards.
Hit the target. Control the Overload. Or destroy everything in your way.
Every expedition feeds your persistent statistics: push your score higher, reach new sectors and turn each run into another attempt to beat your personal best.
Compare your performance through Steam leaderboards, unlock achievements and keep your progress synchronized with Steam Cloud.
Every run is another chance to go farther, play cleaner and climb higher.
Over the last few weeks, BITS OVERLOAD has gone through one of its biggest development phases yet. We’ve been refining the new game modes, improving controller support, polishing menus and gameplay flow, balancing the reactor mechanics, expanding localization, fixing bugs and preparing the Steam version for release. We’ve also continued working on a classified mode that players will have to discover for themselves.A lot has changed behind the scenes, but the goal has remained the same: make BITS OVERLOAD faster, clearer, more tactical and more enjoyable to play. We’re now getting very close to the next release build. Thanks to everyone following the project — more soon.
