AUTOMATE DEATH in this ever-expanding tower defense, with meta-progression, unique map layouts, dozens of weapon systems, military assets, and dozens of breeds of goblin. Each goblin is physically simulated : they can bump, shove, push each other out of the way. The green bastards come in the tens of thousands. None of them get through.
It starts with one M2 machine gun. Place it, sweep its firing arc across the road, and let it work. Your guns fire on their own. You plan the killing field, watch it run, and decide what gets built next.
Every kill earns XP. Spend it on more guns, bigger guns and stranger guns: twenty deployable systems, from miniguns and grenade launchers to howitzers, HIMARS, Patriot batteries, C-RAM, loitering drones, railguns, minefields and patrolling Abrams tanks.
When the guns aren't enough, look up. Call in Hellfire volleys, an AC-130 gunship, A-10 strafing runs, B-52 carpet bombing, napalm and Tomahawk cruise missiles. When all else fails, there is always the ICBM. You pick the target.
A permanent research tree of more than 400 upgrades. Unlock new weapons, then make every one of them hit harder, reach further and chew through heavier armor. Nothing resets. Every battle, won or lost, makes the next one worse for the goblins.
Game-altering behavior is unlocked through mastering weapon systems and assets in the research tree.
Goblins... endless goblins... Hundreds of thousands of goblins seamlessly rendered and simulated every frame.
Paint the roads, place the entrances and exits, set the waves, and test it instantly with your own arsenal. Build the chokepoint you've always wanted, then find out how many goblins it takes to break it.
Share your created maps. Play others' maps. The amount of potential is limitless.
AUTOMATE DEATH demo: update The demo now starts on Mac On some Macs the demo wouldn't open at all ("The game couldn't start a process"). macOS now accepts it, and it runs on Apple Silicon Macs as well as Intel ones. If Steam's services can't be loaded, the game now carries on without them instead of failing to start. Fixed: bullets disappearing after a Retry With Graphics set to High, rounds, tracers, flames, explosions and the colour grading could vanish after you pressed Retry, or started the next battle straight from the results screen. Your guns were still hitting; you just couldn't see it. Fixed. New research: Firing Arcs A new choice off Fire Control, available after you've cleared 3 maps. Pick one side: Tight Arcs: 14% narrower firing arcs per rank. The same fire is packed into a tighter cone, down to about 3.5° for an M2 aimed at full reach. Wide Arcs: 14% wider firing arcs pe...

Read full update on Steam ↗Hey everyone. Over the next 12 hours there will be many small, targeted updates aimed at addressing the various issues that have been identified and reported, examples including crashing, freezing, unintuitive UI experiences, and so on. These patches will be small (around 10mb each). I invite you to share you experiences in this thread or on Discord. Be brutally honest and clear. I want to make a great game, so your feedback is essential. The demo is the perfect cornerstone for yourselves and us to come together and improve upon, from what I've heard and see in the Steam data, is a solid and enjoyable game (though flawed, of course!).I'd also like to hear your thoughts on the following features:Save slotsCampaign stats, all viewable in one screen (would work with save slots if they are implemented too)More demo maps (maybe? ːhappymeatː)Thanks everyone!P.S. The Discord is located at ht...
