About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

RUN THE SHOP. TRY TO ESCAPE.

Tattoo Shop Owner is a shop-management life sim set in a compact open-world district of San Eloria.

You play as Finn , a former tattoo artist with an injured tattooing hand, a half-finished shop, dwindling savings, an impounded sports car, and an extremely confident plan to become a billionaire.

Finish the shop. Promote it. Answer inquiries. Book appointments. Hire artists. Manage supplies, cleanliness, reputation and bills.

Then step outside and try not to waste everything you just earned.

Inspired by real tattoo-shop experiences.

FINN HAS A PLAN

Finn used to make most of his money with a tattoo machine in his hand.

Then he injured that hand, burned through most of his savings moving to San Eloria, and ended up with a half-finished tattoo shop in one of the most expensive places he could have chosen.

So now he manages.

Finn is disheveled, wildly ambitious, dangerously persuasive, and extremely good at making people believe things are going better than they actually are.

And because he would rather save the money than hire a receptionist, he's running the front desk too.

He says this is the beginning of an empire.

Sure.

WORK IS ONLY HALF THE PROBLEM

There is an entire neighborhood outside the shop competing for your time and money.

Buy supplies at the market. Grab food. Drink at the bar. Play pool. Gamble on slot machines. Sing terrible karaoke. Take questionable side jobs. Meet questionable people. Get into fights. Get hit by a car. Pay the medical bill.

Or waste an unreasonable amount of money at a restaurant because things were going a little too well.

Every dollar you spend is a dollar that isn't getting you off San Eloria.

MAKE MONEY. TRY TO KEEP IT.

This isn't a traditional tycoon game where one successful store inevitably turns into a giant corporation.

Your shop can improve, but only so much.

Artists need supplies. Bills keep coming. The shop needs cleaning. Inspections happen. Marketing costs money. Life outside the shop costs money too.

Finn is convinced the tattoo shop is only the first step toward something much bigger.

Your immediate objective is considerably less impressive:

Pay the mechanic. Get the car back. Save enough money to leave San Eloria.

After that?

Finn has more plans.

Of course he does.

FEATURES

Run a tattoo shop from the ground up: Finish setting up the business, promote it, manage the front desk and keep the doors open.

Manage the people who actually tattoo: Hire artists, handle appointments, walk-ins, customer flow and daily scheduling.

Keep the business alive: Manage supplies, finances, cleanliness, reputation, inspections and recurring expenses.

Explore San Eloria: Leave the shop and explore a compact open-world neighborhood filled with businesses, activities and people.

Make questionable financial decisions: Drink, gamble, play pool, sing karaoke, eat out, shop and spend money you were absolutely supposed to save.

Deal with the consequences: Fights, injuries, traffic accidents, medical bills, side jobs and unexpected expenses can quickly destroy a good day.

Improve without becoming a tycoon: Make modest upgrades and build a functioning business without endlessly scaling into a giant commercial empire.

Work toward something bigger: Recover Finn's sports car, build your escape fund and find a way off San Eloria.

Make money. Waste money. Try to escape.
