A micrometeorite strike has cut the researchers off from Kepler Station. You pilot the remaining rescue module. Reach the beacons, land gently, and get everyone to the evacuation base.
PHOBOS: Rescue is a single-player 2D precision-flight game presented as a moving technical blueprint. Rotate the whole lander and fire its engine along its axis. Momentum carries you forward; changing direction takes thrust, time and room to brake.
Fuel is limited for the entire mission. There is no refuelling. Each sector asks you to balance a safe approach, a soft touchdown and enough reserve to finish the rescue. Your module carries three people. Stop on a landing pad and let the transfer finish before taking off.
Fly through 15 handcrafted sectors, from open training grounds to deep shafts and enclosed expert routes. Some early sectors contain slow, drifting asteroids. The final five introduce narrow passages, switchbacks, a spiral and evacuation bases separate from your starting pad.
White outlines, hatched rock, amber landing beacons and live flight instruments keep the mission readable. Use the minimap to navigate scrolling levels, or pause on the full sector map to plan your next move.
15 sectors unlocked in sequence by completing the previous rescue mission.
Inertia-based flight, directional thrust and soft-landing limits.
Three researchers to rescue per mission and one finite fuel supply.
Moving asteroid hazards in selected sectors.
Introductory story, flight tutorial, minimap and paused overview.
Local progress, completed-sector marks and independently adjustable music and sound.
