The free demo of Studs Up!, a top-down five-a-side football brawler where the pitch is questionable, the referee has his price, and your transfer budget is rattling around in somebody else's mouth.

What's in the demo

Quick Match against the AI. Win, and the next lot come out harder.

All three venues - a muddy pub yard, municipal concrete, and a suspiciously well-kept private pitch.

The whole match layer - charged shots, aftertouch, passes, lobs and crunching tackles, plus bottles, bricks, four kinds of firearm, and a referee with opinions about all of it.

Teeth - knock them loose and watch them scatter.

What's not in it

The demo is one match at a time. The season is where the rest lives: The Mincers, six clubs, the pub office between fixtures, 30 upgrades across five branches, sponsors, referee bribery, transfers, injuries that follow you home and players who stay dead. The full game also adds 2 Player Quick Match, a team each on one screen.

Fair warning

This game is not balanced. Absurd things may happen. Absurd things will happen. You can cheese it to win, and you can stand there and watch the other lot cheese it right back. It is not meant to be fair. It is meant to be fun.
