About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

One body. Two drivers. No chance of agreeing.

Online co-op for two. Player 1 steers the left half of one ragdoll, Player 2 the right: one arm, one leg and one camera each. Neither of you is in charge, and both of you are to blame.

How to share a body

Walk together. Pull in opposite directions and your legs do the splits until you sit down. Push the same way and you stride. Push alone and you shuffle along in a weak curve.

Jump together. Both press Jump within 0.2 seconds of each other. Alone, you only kick one leg.

One hand each, one camera each. Hold your button and your hand reaches wherever your camera is looking. Which way is forward? Depends on who you ask.

Carry together. Climb together.

The box is too heavy for one hand, and you each have exactly one. Grab it together, walk it in step and set it down on the yellow pad to open the gate.

Hand over hand, one at a time. One of you holds on while the other reaches for the next grip. Let go at the same time and you both find out what is below.

400 metres straight up

Careful: one slip can cost you a big chunk of the climb. Pistons, swinging hammers, cannons and fans knock you off your feet, and a fall of 1.5 m or more knocks you out. Mash buttons to wake up faster.

Campaign: checkpoints save your progress. Press the checkpoint button together and you both return to the furthest checkpoint you reached.

Time Trial: no checkpoints, no way back, no saves. A fall drops you wherever it drops you.

What's up there

The Sky Kingdom: 36 checkpoints from a sunny meadow to the Ruined Keep, with the sky turning from day to sunset, night and dawn as you climb.

A fishing rod you cast like a grappling hook: one of you aims it, the other works the winch, and either of you can snatch it back.

Cloud Market, a fairground shooting gallery, a flying pirate ship and a claw machine in Crane Yard.

4 secret trials, 13 achievements and a stats screen that counts your knockouts.

Before you buy

Online co-op for exactly 2 players, each on their own PC. No couch or split-screen play, no solo mode, no bots.

Each player needs their own copy, so gift one to your other half.

Invite a Steam friend, share a room code or pick a room from the public list (password optional). There is no automatic matchmaking.

Voice chat is built in, push-to-talk or open mic. You will need it.

Keyboard and mouse or a gamepad each, with Xbox and PlayStation button prompts. Every key except Esc can be rebound.

If your partner leaves, the game ends for both of you. Campaign progress lives in the host's save (3 slots, Steam Cloud). The guest keeps no save of their own, so let the same player host each time.

One map at launch, The Sky Kingdom. More maps are planned, starting with City Bustle. 9 colours to pick for your half, 10 languages, Windows 64-bit.

At the end of the road

An evil sorcerer pulled one friend's soul out and put it inside the other. One of your bodies is waiting at the top of the world. Bring it home, and each of you gets to be yourself again.

Grab a friend. Pick a half. Try to agree.
