About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

A giant slingshot. A whole city. Your turn.

SLING CITY is turn-based multiplayer demolition: you and your friends take turns launching absurd projectiles into a voxel metropolis and watching structural physics do the rest. Sever a tower's base and it tips, grinds down its neighbor's face, and buries the street below.

THE ARSENAL

Earn Destruction Bucks with every point of damage and spend them on an escalating arsenal: the humble BOULDER, JUST A GUY (he ricochets), the PIANO, THE BOAT, a lit-fuse BOMB, a CITY BUS, a jackknifing SEMI TRUCK, a WASD-steered GUIDED MISSILE, the TACTICAL NUKE, and THE MARTIAN — a flyable UFO with a death ray that tears straight through skyscrapers.

SEVEN CITIES

New York, Tokyo, China, Ancient Egypt, The Old Kingdom, Las Vegas, and Italia. Each is a procedurally built island with its own landmarks: fell the Empire Tower, breach the Great Wall, crack the Great Pyramid, or lean the Leaning Tower that little bit further. Pop the blimp. Bag the Golden Limo.

RANKED 1V1

Five shots each, alternating turns, fixed loadout, Elo ratings, and a live leaderboard. Climb from RUBBLE to WRECKING BALL.

20 SLINGSHOT FRAMES

From duct tape to THE SINGULARITY. Purely cosmetic, entirely necessary.

36 ACHIEVEMENTS

Including a few we won't tell you about.

Online multiplayer city rooms — share a code, wreck together

Deterministic physics: shared destruction across players

ALIVE physics: wind, material stress, progressive collapse, and toppling
