Saldyr: Before the Crown Fell is a 2D turn-based tactical RPG. Follow David, Matteo, Noémie and Axel along the imperial road, as an ordinary guard assignment draws them into a conflict where duty, friendship and survival no longer point in the same direction.
Hold the line—or break theirs
Move your units across a grid, make use of weapons and terrain, and choose when to strike, protect or support a companion. Hit points are only part of the battle: collapsing morale can send soldiers fleeing. Killing everyone is not the only way to open a path.
Alone or with your companions
Play the campaign solo, or share control of the heroes with two or three players in online co-op through Steam or over LAN. Actions remain turn-based: plan your positions, cover each other and move forward together.
Not everyone comes home with the same story
Eight chapters across two acts combine tactical battles with dialogue scenes. Who survives and what happens in battle lead to different endings, each followed by an epilogue.
Grid-based tactical combat, support abilities and a morale system.
Four heroes, a story-driven campaign and different outcomes to discover.
Co-op for two to three players, online or over LAN, each on their own computer.
Painted environments, pixel-art characters and a dark medieval atmosphere.
