About this game

The Gambler Returns to Fortuna

That night, at a blackjack table hosted by one of Fortuna’s families, you lost everything. The four powers that carve up the city each had a hand in that game, in their own way. Now you take a seat at Fortuna’s tables once more. This time, you’re the one who brings their game crashing down.

One More Card, One Bigger Blow

Blackjack here doesn’t end with a simple win or loss. Every card you draw raises the RATE. When the round ends, damage is dealt equal to the difference between the scores, multiplied by the RATE. Draw one more and win big, or go bust and lose it all?

21 Isn’t the Only Answer

You don’t always need the higher score to win. Strike your opponent every time you discard, or dump a whole hand in one round and break them in a single blow. Stack Feathers from discarded cards and batter your opponent with them at the end of every round. Lose the score battle, and the fight can still be won elsewhere.

Your Choices Change the Game

Who to fight, where to rest, what to take and what to leave behind. In Fortuna, every decision is yours. Buy cards and trim the weak ones at the shop, enchant a single card into your own weapon, and catch your breath at the tavern. The path you walk becomes your deck, and your deck shapes the next showdown.

The preparations are over. It’s time to settle the debt from that night.
