Lumesprout is a single-player pixel-art action roguelite set in six overgrown garden regions. Move through enemy hordes while your weapon attacks automatically, aim at priority targets, and use Dash and Pulse to make room when enemies close in.
Choose one of six weapons
Start each run with the Seed Bow, Thorn Fan, Starlight Lantern, Moonring, Spore Pod, or Harvest Scythe. Each weapon changes how you fight: precise shots, spreading needles, orbiting flames, returning projectiles, explosive spores, or wide scythe swings. Collect experience and choose upgrades to increase your damage, reach, attack speed, and other weapon effects.
Complete the objective, then choose when to return
Explore six regions with 18 missions, including seed collection, area defense, and Hard Mode. Collect all three seeds or defend all three sites to complete the corresponding mission; defeating an elite is not required. The first mission in a region opens the next region.
After completing your objective, return with your earnings or stay for extra rewards and a regional guardian. If you die after completing the objective, your secured reward is kept and only the additional earnings are reduced by half. Judgment, Blessing, Growth, and healing items can help you survive another wave.
Follow the growth tree
Spend the Light you earn on 59 individual growth steps across Survival, Combat, Gathering, and Mobility. Each step leads to the next, with higher steps costing more. Raise two branches to their required steps, then pay to unlock a combination skill. Six combinations are available; equip one for your next run.
Collect and equip relics
Defeat regional guardians to collect 12 relic types and upgrade fragments. Choose one relic to take into battle. Relics you own do not all apply at once, so your weapon, growth, combination skill, and equipped relic each matter when planning a build.
English and Korean
All interface and gameplay text is available in English and Korean. Change the language in Settings. Play on Windows or macOS.

This update reworks campaign progression and permanent growth, and adds relic rewards for continuing to fight after completing a mission. These notes cover changes from version 0.3.22 to 0.3.36. Growth Tree Permanent growth now consists of 59 individual steps, unlocked in order along the branches of a tree. Fruit-shaped nodes, connecting paths and step numbers show which upgrades come next. Zoom, pan and the full-tree view help you explore the tree, while the detail panel shows effects, costs and prerequisites. Invest eight steps in each of two growth branches, then spend additional Light to unlock a combination skill. There are six combination skills, with one equipped for combat at a time.
