Unravel a century-old family curse over 29 nights on an island where the sun never truly rises.

Whispers of Orange Island  is an atmospheric, narrative-driven 2D top-down stealth puzzle game. Play as a wandering soul traversing a dystopian island trapped in eternal night, and guide restless spirits to their final peace.

The Story

Welcome to Orange Island—a place bound by the strict, dystopian "Holy Water Ritual" that forces its residents to live exclusively by night. Because of this unnatural cycle, the souls of the dead can never truly rest, wandering the island's shadows.

You play as the soul of a little girl whose physical body lies comatose in an ICU. You must delve into the memories of your ancestors, uncovering a dark century-long family history that transitions from innocent orange orchards to a cruel horseshoe crab blood factory, and ultimately break the curse that has shrouded the island in darkness.

Key Features

Stealth Among the Living

As a soul, ordinary humans cannot see you, but your living families/friends  can "sense" your presence. Get too close, and your soul will shatter into pieces out of fear of scaring them. Additionally, pets  can see you perfectly—their barks and meows will instantly draw humans to your location.

Evade Supernatural Threats

You must also survive the Darkhurt —terrifying, wall-piercing manifestations of obsession and trauma. They will stalk you, stun you, and corrupt the very ghosts you are trying to save.

Master Your Tools

As the 29-day countdown progresses, you will receive 5 unique tools from your ancesters:

*   Yarnball : Toss it to distract pets and clear your path.

*   Cloak : Create a temporary safe zone for you and the spirits you guide to hide from the living.

*   Lighthouse Beam : Repel the Darkhurt and heal corrupted souls.

*   Camera : Freeze souls and Darkhurts with a blinding flash.

*    Flower : Player turns self to a flower to block lines of sight or stun incoming threats.

Time and Energy Management

Every action and tool usage drains your Energy. If your energy depletes or if the sun rises, you will be forced back to your Shelter, losing your progress for that night. Plan your routes carefully—you only have 29 days to uncover the truth and save your family.
