About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

RE:COPY is a Sokoban-style puzzle game that combines box-pushing with copying. Control a robot, push boxes, and copy sections of the grid from one place to another. Your goal is to match the arrangement of patterns on the boxes and walls to the target pattern.

Plan what to copy, where to put it, and how to move the boxes beforehand. Think about how each copy will change the grid as you work out your next moves.

Copy Sections of the Grid

Use scan and print devices to copy arrangements of boxes, walls, switches, and more. Step on a switch to copy everything inside the dotted outline to the area inside the solid outline. Work out how to arrange the boxes in the scan area to create the shape you need in the print area.

Copy Yourself and Move Together

You can copy the robot itself, too. Every move controls all robots at once, letting you push boxes and activate switches in different parts of the level.

Use the way each move affects multiple parts of the grid to work toward the target pattern.

Copy the Devices Themselves

Later on, even the scan and print devices themselves can be copied. Copied devices can trigger further copies, sometimes causing more and more devices to appear.

Sometimes, reaching the target pattern means first creating the devices or arrangements you need for the next copy. Work out how to use one copy to set up the next and complete the target pattern.

Take Your Time with Over 100 Puzzle Levels

Start by copying simple arrangements. As you learn to copy robots and devices, you'll encounter puzzles that combine them in new ways.

There are no time limits, so you can study the grid and think each puzzle through at your own pace.
