About this game

Description

Supplied by the Steam store

DEMON CRISIS  is a fast, ridiculous on-rails arcade shooter about two government employees having an exceptionally bad day at the office.

Deep inside the org chart for the Department of Homeland Security sits a tiny, underfunded directorate tasked with tracking things the public absolutely does not need to know about. Interdimensional breaches. Demonic incursions. Mostly, though, the Pennsylvania field office handles paperwork.

Until something gets loose.

The office is overrun in minutes. The staff is massacred. The emergency procedures are useless. And the only people left standing are an ex-field operative who has just been reassigned to management, and the career bureaucrat she was supposed to supervise.

Fortunately, both of them know how to use a gun.

SHOOT FIRST. FILE THE REPORT LATER.

Fast-paced on-rails shooting  with hordes of demons, destructible scenery, and very little time to think.

Two-player co-op  over  LAN or online

Made for light guns.  Or use anything that Windows and/or MAME can pick up and read as a mouse.

Full Recoil . Feel each shot when you fire, and feel nothing when your clip runs dry.

Light gun support includes Sinden, GUN4IR, RS3 Reaper, GunCon3,  and  MAMEHooker  integration for basically whatever unholy collection of hardware is plugged into your homemade arcade cabinet.

Two playable protagonists  with an increasingly dysfunctional buddy-cop relationship.

Big arcade set pieces  packed with ambushes, bosses, explosions, collapsing rooms, and things coming through walls that should not be coming through walls.

A deeply unserious story  involving demons, bureaucracy, classified programs, questionable science, and an organization whose budget does not include “adequate ammunition.”

You have a gun.   There are demons.  This is now your problem.
