King Alone - Demo

We respect your time , so the DEMO IS THE ACTUAL GAME. You get the first map as it is at the moment. The only thing missing is one core mechanic we're saving for Early Access, dropping December 1st (together with new maps, enemies and caravan surprises)!

King Alone is a tower defence and action strategy game about a King whose own kingdom turned against him. Flee down the road with everything you have left loaded onto a farmer's harvest cart, and the Queen, blinded by your enemies , riding on top.

15 Kinds of Enemy, 6 Siege Engines. Straw men with farm swords, war hounds, worm mages, bogmen who throw turf, a whole cult procession. They roll up a battering ram called the Boar, a pavise that eats your arrows, fire-pot barrows and a harpoon crossbow.

7 Carts to Build Your Caravan. Add a pike cart with crow's nests, a stone-throwing bow cart, a crate of silver wolves, a fire-spitting drake, a fisherman's cart, and a sea eagle that snatches goblins out of a fight and drops them on their friends.

3 Unique Lands. Bring the harvest home down the Harvest Road. Keep the wheels out of the mud in the Venom Marches, where the dead climb out of the mere. Then cross the Frozen Pass before the cold gets you. The Scorched Sands are next.

4 Kinds of Units, Toss a coin to a stranger and they're yours. Hand them an axe or a pike, free captives from their chains, let horse bowmen out of their cages.

Balance economy and defence by hiring people on the road, adding war carts to your caravan, and charging into battle yourself to keep her alive. Step into a twist on tower defence where you travel while engaging new waves of various enemies.

Hand-Built Days

Every day on the road is its own fight, from a handful of fieldhands to a siege of a hundred men.

Expand your economy with a help of lumberjacks and roadside fisherman. The Queen collects every coin you earn - as long as the cart survives.

Build your army from the strangers you meet, each won over with a single coin. Your forces include Pikemen, Longbowmen, Horse Bowmen and Footmen, and the prisoners you free from enemy chains.

Gamble your coin at camp on a jinn's roulette wheel to collect special abilities for you and your people.

From Fieldhands and Scarecrows to Swordsmen, Fire Ants, Candle Worms, Bogmen, Skeletons and many hostile siege engines, the road is crawling with danger.

As King, ride at the front and keep the Queen safe until the road ends.
